CFB Live Update: Auburn defeats Texas A&M; NCCU tops Hampton 14-6

The NCCU Eagles defeated the University of Hampton Pirates 14-6 on Saturday.

NCCU WR Jacen Murphy recorded 7 catches for 145 yards and a TD; and Kawuan Cox recorded an INT with a TD. Davanta Reynolds recorded 2 INTs.

No points were scored in the second half.

NOTES: After earlier breaking NCCU career record for punting yards, Nathaniel Tilque completed a 27-yard pass on a fake punt for a first down. ... Reynolds' second interception of the game was his sixth of the season.

AUBURN TOPS TEXAS A&M

Jarrett Stidham threw 3 TD's to lead the Auburn Tigers past the Texas A&M Aggies 42-27 on the road on Saturday.

NOTES: Auburn's Kerryon Johnson recorded his first and second-career touchdown catches, and Darius Slayton recorded a 53-yard TD catch. ... Ryan Davis and Eli Stove also recorded TD catches for Auburn.

WISCONSIN IMPROVES TO 9-0

The Wisconsin Badgers defeated the Indiana Hoosiers 45-17 on Saturday to improve to 9-0 on their season.

NOTES: Indiana K Griffin Oakes has connected on 7 straight field goals, giving him the 9th longest streak in program history. This is the third time Oakes has been in the top-10 for most FG’s in a row, joining Mitch Ewald as the only to be on the list 3+ times. Oakes is tied for the 7th most makes in Big Ten Football history (65). ... Indiana's Chris Gajcak made his first-career start. ... Indiana's Zeke Walker made his first-career start on defense.
